Changing your world starts with the ‘What‘. It asks the question: “What will you do to change your world?” There are several levels at which this can be answered. At the smallest level you can just brighten someone’s day – a smile, a compliment, or a helping hand will all contribute to making the world a better place in a small way. On a larger level you might consider joining a cause, volunteering somewhere, or doing something that will touch a whole group of people. From there you can scale things all the way up to running for office, planting a church, or launching a national/international movement! And there is no rule against doing something on each level every day.

That brings us to the ‘How“. Small, spontaneous gestures don’t really need much of a plan. It’s just the day-to-day lifestyle of a world-changer on-the-go. But as you set your sights on bigger and bigger objectives the ‘how’ becomes more and more critical. This is where most dreams die. Everyone has a great idea to change the world at some point or another. But it never get off the ground because, “I just can’t see how…” This is precisely where world-changing skills like outside-the-box problem-solving, passionate determination, and network resourcing come in. Whatever the size of your ‘What’, I can assure you there is a ‘How’! Just scratch off all the ways that won’t work and start narrowing down a short list of those that might. The knowledge, the people, and the money you will need is definitely out there. And it is available to anyone who just won’t give up until they get it.

Lastly you have to answer the ‘When‘ question. Actually this is easier to answer when you just rephrase it to ask, “If not now – when?” You can try to schedule it in later if you like, but odds are that if you don’t start now, you probably never will.
